Downtown Tel Aviv has the largest concentration in the world of buildings designed in the International Style (better known as Bauhaus architecture), giving Tel Aviv-Yafo its special standing in the heritage of modern architectural culture.

Since then, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality has marked UNESCO’s declaration every year through a series of White Night events that incorporate another added value of the city: namely, that it is a “nonstop city.”

The rock band fronted by rock legend Anton Newcombe will perform in Israel this summer. The concert coincides with the release of the band's latest album "Revelations". Fans can expect to hear new songs like What You Isn't and classic hits like Straight Up and Down.

This year the Shavuot holiday will be celebrated on the evening of 3 June (6 Sivan on the Jewish calendar).  Shavuot evening marks a special tradition, known as 'Tikun Leil Shavuot', which includes festive all-night Torah study sessions to celebrate the giving of the Torah to the Jewish people.

This year, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality invites you to take part in the numerous all-night Tikuns taking place throughout the city. The events will be hosted by Jewish organizations, communities and synagogues across a wide spectrum: Secular, Conservative, Reform and Modern Orthodox.
